Global Game Jam Poster.

This is a poster I did for Game Developers Network (SCAD Student Club) for their upcoming Global Game Jam. Had a lot of fun doing this. Below is the poster image itself and then with all the info on it. Enjoy.

CHADES CHALLENGE XLIV: BEWARE OF FALLING ICICLES

This is an illustration I did for Austin Madison's Chades Challenge XLIV: Beware of Falling Icicles. This is what popped into my head when I heard the challenge. I hope to keep participating in them!

Bowling Alley.

This past quarter I took Environments, Props and Structure with Professor David Gildersleeve. In the class we had to draw comics, but place backgrounds (or at least a good amount of them) in there. This class is probably the most important class I have taken, as it put me in the good habit of placing backgrounds in my pages.

Self Work Colored.

These are colored pages I did from one of my sketchbooks where I tried to keep a daily comic journal. This was for my Digital Coloring class.

Simpsons Story Boards + Animatic.

For my Character Design and Storyboard for Animation class we had to storyboard an early episode of the Simpsons. Only 3 pages of script resulted in over 100 drawings. Storyboarding is no joke, but man did it put me in a mood to draw more!

Below is the finished animatic that I put together in After Effects. Took me a while to find the audio. Edited the audio to fit my scene better. (Note: These drawings are tiny, the characters are no bigger than a thumb.) I used marker for the gray scale.

The Simpsons belong to 20th Century Fox, NOT me.

Final Maquette

Final version of my Maquette. This was my first time building one so it was quite a learning and experimental process. With helpful tips from fellow students I was able to do an alright job in my opinion.
